The Los Angeles Lakers announced the 32-year-old professional basketball player's signing to the team on social media on Sunday.
Tristan has previously played for the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Cleveland Cavaliers most recently.
Khloe's previous lover has played for the Lakers before Tristan. Lamar Odom, her ex-husband, played for the team from 2004 until 2011.
Tristan's professional decision comes with speculations about his relationship status with Khloe, the mother of two of his children: the 8-month-old baby, whose name has not yet been revealed, and his daughter True, who is almost 5 years old.
In a lovely message last month, Khloe wished Tristan a happy birthday and wished him to "continue to crave change, healing, and transformation."
